Odyssea the mermaid is an “aqua punk” graphic novel following the story of Odyssea, a troubled but unapologetically fierce mermaid who abandons the deep to live among the humans she loathes. Gritty, darkly surreal, and laced with humor, ODYSSEA is a reluctant hero’s journey set in the emotionally flooded ruins of a once-vibrant beachside city now drowning in its past. It explores identity, alienation, neurodivergence, environmental collapse, and the burden of unwanted power.
